Minister of Investment and Downstream Industry / Chairman of Indonesia Investment Coordinating Board, @rosanroeslani, released the investment realization data for the third quarter (July–September) of 2025. The realization achievement in this period amounted to USD 30.7 billion, or 25.8% of the total investment realization target for 2025, which is USD 119.1 billion. During this period, the absorption of Indonesian workers reached 696,478 people mainly employed in the metal industry (14.6%) and the mining (11.4%) sectors. Furthermore, Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) accounted for 43.1% of the total, with West Java being the top province for investment destination. The United States is the fifth‑largest contributor to FDI in the Q3 2025 investment realization.
The positive investment realization in the third quarter of 2025 reflects an improving market sentiment, supported by policy deregulation, the government's commitment to downstream industrialization, and the acceleration of digital economic transformation. The strong fundamentals of Indonesia's economy amid global economic pressures also demonstrate the government's commitment to continuing the downstream agenda and strengthening the business climate to ensure inclusive and sustainable growth.
