Indonesia continues to accelerate its clean energy transition through strategic investment in renewable infrastructure.
The Tanah Laut Wind Power Plant in South Kalimantan will become the largest wind power project in Kalimantan and the first wind power plant within the PLN Group. With a total capacity of 70 MW and an integrated Battery Energy Storage System (BESS), the project demonstrates Indonesia’s commitment to expanding renewable energy while strengthening long-term energy security.
Developed by PLN Nusantara Renewables, TotalEnergies, and Adaro Power, the project is expected to begin commercial operation in 2026 and provide electricity to more than 38,000 households.
