Indonesia continues to strengthen its position as a key player in global agriculture. According to the latest FAO Food Outlook, Indonesia is now the largest rice producer in ASEAN and the fourth largest in the world, reflecting the country’s growing contribution to regional and global food security.

With production reaching nearly 35 million tons in 2025 and continued investment in agricultural productivity, Indonesia is reinforcing its role in building a more resilient food system for the future.
