During a working visit to Washington, D.C., the Minister of Investment and Downstream/Head of BKPM, @rosanroeslani, met with the leadership of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce (USCC)—the largest business organization in the United States, representing over 3 million companies across sectors both domestically and globally.

Accompanied by @iipc_newyork, the meeting served as a strategic platform to present Indonesia’s investment policy direction. Discussions covered key priorities including industrial downstreaming, clean energy development, digital economy growth, food security, and the provision of quality healthcare and education services.

Minister Rosan highlighted that Indonesia not only offers vast investment opportunities but also ensures a transparent regulatory framework and competitive incentives ranging from tax holidays to super tax deductions for R&D and training.

In Q1 2025, the United States ranked 6th among foreign investors in Indonesia, with a total investment value of USD 802 million. In the natural resource downstreaming sector, the U.S. was the 4th largest source of foreign direct investment (FDI), contributing USD 578 million in realized investment.
