On Wednesday, Jan 18th 2023, IIPC NY conducted a meeting with Madison Lawson, Senior Manager of Foreign Direct Investment at Enterprise Florida Inc (EFI) which took place at Tampa Bay Chamber Office in Tampa, Florida.
The ultimate objective was to kickstart the future collaborations between IIPC and EFI, particularly to share each party’s experience in conducting events that attract FDIs (foreign direct investments) such as trade shows and business forums as well as to leverage the network with multinational companies & global investors affiliated with EFI & IIPC NY. This initial discussion is expected to be a cornerstone to promote FDIs to Indonesia and Florida/US in the long run.
Not only has a strong presence in the US, but EFI also has representatives in Asia Pacific. EFI itself is a public-private partnership board aiming to develop the local economy and mainly focuses on several key prioritized sectors that are imperative to Indonesian economic development, such as but not limited to manufacturing, aerospace, information & technology and life sciences.
