An investment worth nearly US$200 million originating from the United States demonstrates Indonesia's openness to investment from various countries. Bahlil emphasized the importance of PepsiCo involving local SMEs in the supply and logistics chain.
PepsiCo's first manufacturing facility in Indonesia is located in Cikarang, West Java, covering an area of 60,000 m2. This factory will prioritize environmental sustainability and utilize renewable energy sources to produce snacks.
