This development project will support geothermal energy exploration and resource confirmation for 1-1.5 GW and help mitigate 187-281 million tCO2eq (tonnes of carbon dioxides equivalent) over the lifetime of generating assets.
In the long run, the project will help the government achieve their goal to increase the share of renewables in the mix of electricity generation to 23% by 2027.
