Ambassador Muhammad Lutfi was born in Jakarta on 18 August 1969 and hold a Bachelor in Economics of the Purdue University, USA (1992). Previously, he was the Minister of Trade of the Republic of Indonesia (2014), Indonesian Ambassador to Japan (2010-2013), and Chairman of the Indonesia Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM) (2005-2009).
