#Indonesia will issue a regulation (Perppu) that will boost state spending by up to Rp 405.1 tn (US$24.6 bn) & widen the budget deficit to 5.07% of GDP in the nation’s fight against #COVID19.
Of the extra spending, the government will allocate
● Rp 75 tn (19%) for healthcare spending;
● Rp 110 tn (27%) for social protection;
● Rp 70.1 tn (17%) for tax incentives & credit for enterprises;
● Rp 150 tn (37%) for economic recovery programs including credit restructuring & financing for small & medium businesses.
