The Ministry of Investment/Head of BKPM, through @iipc_newyork, organized the Indonesia-US Business Forum in Washington, D.C. (August 26), in collaboration with the Indonesian Embassy in Washington D.C., Bank Indonesia, and the US-ASEAN Business Council.
The forum, aimed at strengthening economic relations between the two countries, featured Deputy for Investment Climate Development Riyatno discussing policies and investment trends in renewable energy, critical minerals, and manufacturing.
The event, which also commemorated 75 years of diplomatic relations between Indonesia and the US, was attended by US government officials, representatives from friendly nations, and the US business community. The forum was opened by the Indonesian Minister of Foreign Affairs and the US Under Secretary of Commerce and concluded with a green investment project pitching session and one-on-one meetings with four US companies.
