Domestic #textile & #garment industry has the capacity to produce 17 million pieces of personal protective equipment (PPE) per month. The number was based on the combined production capacity of 31 textile manufacturers & 2,900 garment production facilities across #Indonesia.
Those manufacturers had committed to providing the gear after the Indonesian Textile Association (API) & the Indonesian Fiber & Filament Yarn Producers Association (Apsify) agreed to help the government meet domestic demand.
